DIY Repairing Rear Power Socket Panel

Pic 1 – Panel with gaping hole

Pic 2 – Taking off the gearknob, turning it anti-clockwise

Pic 3 – Unscrewing the middle console

Pic 4 – Unscrewing the middle console in front of gearstick, underneath the ashtray

Pic 5 – Insert testpen and push the clips out. Be careful.

Pic 6 – More unscrewing work here. Remember to keep your screws properly!

Pic 7 – Take note of which colour wire to which socket before disconnecting it.

Pic 8 – Broken plastic clips

Pic 9 – Broken plastic clip base

Pic 10 – Stuff cloth into empty gap

Pic 11 – Put everything back and Tadaaa..
