29th September 2002 - WPC Bowling Tournament were held at the Sunway Pyramid Bowl. Another day out for the wajarians as well as recreational activities for the whole family. Top six bowlers with the highest pin fall came home with trophies and game vouchers. Details

28th September 2002 - Proton Chief Executive Officer, Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff launches Waja Performance Club or WPC a motoring club for Waja car owners. Members were treated to a video and multimedia presentation and a tour around Proton Plant as well as the testing tracks. Most of the members were fortunate enough to witness the soon to be launch the Waja 1.8.

To date, WPC has 528 members and are in the process of re-registering its members who had registered prior to the official registration date of the club, which was July 20th, 2002. The main focus of the club activities has so far been centred on motoring related activities and holiday getaways. Details at Autoworld
